Hi, I’m Lo (she/they). I’m an Associate Marriage, Couples, and Family Therapist and an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor with a master’s degree from The Chicago School under the supervision of Dr. Nadia Rojas Jones. I believe in creating a therapeutic environment where clients feel safe to express themselves honestly, feel heard and validated, and can exist without fear of rejection or judgment. My aim is to help break harmful generational patterns and heal psychological wounds to build healthier and more satisfying relationships. Outside work, I value being in nature, making music, and spending time with loved ones.
My Approach & Values
With a social justice oriented, anti-racist and LGBTQIA+ affirming perspective, I take a systemic approach that considers the social, economic, cultural, and familial contexts of each client. I utilize techniques from Structural Family Therapy and Narrative Family Therapy as well as incorporate interventions from Play Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Additionally, I enjoy integrating music, art, and mindfulness practices into my sessions.
